Born in Alexandria, Louisianna and raised in Willingboro, NJ he got his career started in Washington, DC. A theater major at George Washington University, he received an internship at WKYS which landed him a hip hop show in 1995 called “Saturday Night Hip Hop.” In 1996 he was promoted and became a member of the “Live Squad.” In March 2000 he spread his wings and moved to Philadelphia, PA and became a member of that stations nighttime duo “The Hot Boys.” In December 2004 Pooch teamed up with Monie Love to form Philadelphia’s new #1 morning show “Monie & Pooch in the Morning” Who is your favorite video chick? Esther Baxter How do you have so much energy at 5:30 in the morning? I feel so blessed to have an oppurtinity to do the morning show. I want to be the #1 morning show on the #1 station in the Philadelphia. This is a dream come true. How can I not have so much energy, should be the question. If you could be anyone but yourself, who would it be? It would definitely be Steven Speilberg. As an aspring filmaker, I respect and admire the fact that he has total control over any project he does.
