Raised in a household surrounded by music, it should be no surprise that Kendra “G’ sounds like she was born to be on the radio. Her love for music and entertainment began at a very early age. Growing up in Connecticut and attending parties and functions with her father, who was an extremely popular Dee-Jay throughout her adolescent years, immediately gave her the intensity needed to be involved in a career that was surrounded by music.

Kendra “G” began her radio career while attending Hampton University. Upon graduating from Hampton, she landed her first commercial radio job in her home state Connecticut with WZMX Hot 93.7. Utilizing her outstanding people skills and her sense of humor to entertain her listeners every weekend, she immediately impressed the Program Director who, in turn, made her the main fill-in jock for the full-time air staff. Within months her hilarious comments and her “tell it like it is” personality made her a well known name in Connecticut. It was only a matter of time before Kendra “G” would naturally be entertaining listeners on a daily basis. That time came in November of 2003.

For over a year, Kendra “G” took Buffalo, New York by storm! Saying what she felt to entertain and inform her listeners every evening on 93.7 WBLK. Her evening show was the undisputedly #1 evening show in WNY and with opportunities like interviewing Grammy award winning artist such as Alicia Keys, or even dancing with Usher in front of 30,000 people in Toronto, Canada, it was evident that her radio career was only going to get better.

And better it did! Kendra became the energetic voice in the morning as she co-host the TREY THE CHOCOLATE JOCK MORNING JUMP-OFF on POWER 92 in Chicago.

Kendra has now taken over nights in Philly and can now be heard Monday through Saturday on 100.3 The Beat BABY!!!

Her winning attitude and undeniable dedication to radio will guarantee that her success will continue in Philly! Oprah better watch out!
